Hello World!

This is C. Roxanne Maxwell speaking.  I am one of the bloggers here on New American Dreamers.  I enjoy writing, acting, mindlessly surfing the Internet, playing the piano, and watching TV, though not necessarily in that order.

I have lived in America for 17 years.  In that time, I written articles for magazines and have been paid for it.  I started a small business selling eggs, lost money, and consequently left that business.  That egg business is the closest I've gotten to "The American Dream."

As an American student, I have studied "The American Dream" off and on throughout my life.  I have read both success and horror stories regarding the topic.  Many of the "Millennial" generation and younger seem to think that "The American Dream" is dead.  Throughout my posts, I will try to take an unbiased approach, pointing out all the angles.  Together, we will discover if the "American Dream" is alive and kicking, or if it was crushed long ago.  Feel free to comment and voice your own opinions as we discover the truth together.
